As promised, this news should be about the clans. Right, it's the institution that has been dividing the society since the start - some hate it, the other ones want to do something with it. Some people want to get rid of the clans, some want to reform them, and some don't even know what's going on with them. It's high time to change this. I understand all the opinions, but I see potential in the clans. The clans have temporarily been moved to the archives, so as to think about their further fate in calm. To not think about it alone by myself, I am going to form a special group, which will talk the future of the clans on the G2O Forum over. Because the clans in Gothic are in general a polish thing, the people chosen to that group will be from Poland - that's logical and will make the communaction easier. In case someone other wanted to suggest something, you may contact me all the time. However, I want to point out that the clans will have to play the game in order to stay part of the G2O Forum (which indeed isn't obvious).
I mentioned in the previous news that the clans and everybody else will be given a temporaty solution during the discussion about the clans and their further fate. For this, there's going to start a new TeamDeathmatch league soon, which both, people from the clans and everybody else, will be able to enrol on. Futher information about that will appear as soon as possible. I'm making this in hopes of the clans getting interested in it and other players take part in it to play Gothic Online.
Just to make it clear, we're still working on how to integrate the other societies, such as the RolePlay one, with the official forum. It has been mentioned a lot that the people playing on those servers don't really have much to do on the official forum - this also has to be changed. After all, this process is harder than the one with the clans, and that's why I might accept any suggestions.
Further news should be about the design of the forum, which probably everybody is sincerely waiting for. I renew my request for any possible help with that.
