I think the launcher just let us know theres a new version even if we got it.
my launcher  (0.4.6a)same as the "new" one
Im trying to play with gog version of Gothic 2 notr.
I suspected i might have problems with this version and mods but i hope its not that.

Well the problem is that GO is multiplayer for Gothic 1, so you have to download G2O
And second problem is that, probably you installing it to wrong directory. Small example: C:\\Program Files\\JoWood\\Gothic II
