G2O Gothic 2 Online on Mac OS

Hello everyone. Last few days I was struggling to get gothic 2 to work on mac, and finally came up with this wrapper. It includes wine itself and all necessary libraries to run the game. So, feel free to use it: Download.

Wrapper does not include the game itself, so you have to get it from somewhere. You can simply put the game files to the /drive_c/Gothic 2/ directory or install the game manually. If you chose the second option, the GOG version works just fine, all you have to do is:

• Right click to the unzipped wrapper, chose "Show the content of this file" (it may be called differently) 
  
• Double-click to the Wineskin.app
  
• Chose "Install Software" and install the game as normal.
  

Repeat that for G2O launcher if you want to play online.

I tested it on mac os 10.11, works better than with crossover, no lags, everything is smooth.


Bet there is a problem with new Launcher 0.0.6. As I can see it was developed with .NET 4.5 which works terrible on wine, I tried everything but the launcher doesn't even start. Is there any chance that there will be another launcher that will work with mono? Or at least built with .NET 2.0? Thanks.

We can't just build it with old .NET, because we use new features from .NET 4.5 like async
There is a chance, that Launcher will be rewriten to C++, because something wrong is with this .NET na WPF in some players on Windows 7.

I installed mono for linux first, then mono for windows on wine, probably .net 4.5 is also necessary.
Everything should work without problems on wine 2.5
